Every Scripted Writer wants to provide amazing content for their clients, but there are a few tips you can apply to each job to keep your quality high and consistent.
Research and Reference
If the Customer has provided you with relevant links, you've got a great jumping-off point. Dive into the topic and try to ensure that your article is properly sourced as per the customer's requests. Customers who feel a piece is well-sourced will almost always be happier with your final draft.
Communication
Let the Customer know their Project is in good hands! Send a message over after they've accepted your pitch and let them know things are underway. Take the time to ask questions. If the customer isn't responsive and the quality of the job is hinging on their response, send a message over to us over at support@scripted.com and we'll ensure everything is taken care of.
Remember, Writers who build a rapport with their Customers are considerably more likely to receive repeat work from that Customer in the future.
Proofread
When you've finished your draft, take some time away from the piece before Submitting it so that you can review it with fresh eyes. In addition, use a tool like Grammarly or Hemingway to ensure your grammar, sentence structure and spelling is all correct.
