Extending deadline on Scripted can be done with the click of a button.
Deadlines are one of the realities of being a freelance writer and adhering to the ones you've been assigned on Scripted is crucial to keep your account in good standing.
Remember: Accepting a job on Scripted is agreeing to complete the job by the assigned deadline.
Please note that not all deadline extension requests will be granted and the deadline extension request option should only be used on a must-need basis.
However, from time to time, it may not be possible to complete a job by the given timeline and in those cases, you'll need to request a deadline extension.
Thankfully, this is a relatively easy process that can be accomplished by clicking the job on your dashboard and navigating to the Request Deadline Extension button. You'll need to fill out a little information about the reason for the extension, but once submitted, the Scripted Team will review your request as soon as possible.
