Messages can help you build relationship with clients, discuss details of your job and more
Did you know that both Editors and Customers can see the messages you send? We put together a quick guide on best practices for keeping communication professional, concise, and effective.
How To Access Messages
Messages can be accessed by clicking on the job on your dashboard and clicking the "Messages" tab. You can also find them by clicking "Start Writing" on the job itself and using the Messages section on the sidebar, as shown in the image above.
Why You Need To Use Messages
The vast majority of veteran Scripted Writers utilize messages every day. It's a great way to get additional information about the job you're working on and more importantly, a wonderful way to create a relationship with your new client.
Often, writers will create a support ticket with Scripted in order to resolve some confusion or lack of info in a job; nearly as often, this kind of roadblock can be easily overcome by using Messaging to instantly contact the customer.
Note: If the client is unresponsive, you can always contact support@scripted.com
