Keeping track of your deadlines keeps your account in good standing.
Deadlines are important for Scripted clients. It’s your responsibility as a Scripted Writer to manage your deadlines and missing deadlines repeatedly can result in the suspension of your account for 30 Days or indefinitely, depending on the severity of the case. We manage this internally via Writer Reliability Score (WRS).
How does it work?
WRS is calculated on a 30-day moving window. Writers are permitted to miss two (2) deadlines within a 30 day period before a potential suspension. If 30 days have elapsed since the last missed deadline, that missed deadline is no longer counted.
Example:
Writer misses deadline on April 1
Writer misses deadline on May 2.
Result: One missed deadline. Deadline from April 1 has been reset, as 30 days have elapsed.
Writer misses deadline on April 1
Writer misses deadline on April 15
Writer misses deadline on May 6
Result: Writer account receives performance review and possible suspension.
Where Can I See My Writer Reliability Score?
You can access your Reliability Score by clicking Writer Profile/Portfolio on the left column of your dashboard. Your Reliability Score status will be listed on the right.
Your profile may show one of these three different statuses:
Account in good standing - This means that your account has no missed deadlines in the past 30 days.
Account in danger - This means that your account has one missed deadline.
Account under review- This means your account has two or more missed deadlines and is currently under review by Scripted staff. This review will determine the nature of the incidents and can result in temporary or permanent suspension from the Scripted platform.
Does Writer Reliability Score Affect My Writer Tier?
Frequently missed deadlines are taken into account during Writer Tier reviews and can impact your ranking.

Deadline Extensions
We understand that life can sometimes get in the way and a missed deadline isn’t always the Writer’s fault! That’s why we’ll be individually reviewing these cases when they arise and we'll always reach out for details should anything be unclear.
However, if you have a deadline drawing near and you’re not able to make it, we strongly advise reaching out to the customer for a deadline extension. While we don’t advise making a habit out of it, deadline extensions are not tabulated when considering WRS.
If you find yourself unable to reach the client for an extension and are unable to make a deadline, please reach out to support@scripted.com.
